by Alessandra
Also this year the appointment with the Primavera FAI Days is renewed, a weekend dedicated to Italian heritage, during which it will be possible to visit exceptional places both from an artistic and naturalistic point of view. In some cases these are places normally closed to the public. To access, we can sign up for the FAI or donate a free offer.
Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 March also in Liguria the FAI visits program will be very rich. In Genoa the students of the middle and high schools will be our Ciceroni, accompanying us to the discovery of numerous and interesting historical places. We can visit the Antica Barberia Giacalone or follow an ideal historical route linked to architecture between the years 20-40: from Piazza della Vittoria to the Casa del Mutilato, Palazzo della Nafta, the exterior of Palazzo Inps.
For those wishing to take advantage of this wekend to discover the Eastern Ligurian Riviera, we recommend a visit to the magnificent Abbey of San Girolamo al Monte di Portofino, which can be reached by a relaxing walk from Santa Margherita Ligure.
In Lavagna, Casa Carbone will be open to the public, an elegant bourgeois home of the nineteenth century, which was donated to the FAI by the Carbone family, perfectly preserved with its period furnishings and art objects.
Absolute novelty of this 26th edition, the Complex of Castelli Gualino in Sestri Levante. Sunday, March 25 from 10 to 18 we can visit the buildings built in 1925 on the ruins of ancient fortifications of 1145. The walk allows you to admire the botanical park and the set of two “castles”, which today host a prestigious hotel.
