We had the best stay at Villa Paggi. The bed and breakfast is located on a hill with a wonderful view from which you can even see the sea. The breakfast is delicious with homemade pies, cakes, bread, and other treats that change daily. The area is quiet so you can get a good night's sleep. And the hosts are wonderful, helpful people who recommended the best beaches to us. Our vacation was great at Villa Paggi and we highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Beautiful and quiet location, wonderful view on the sea. Large room, very clean, perfect size bathroom. Super friendly owners, very helpful and provided many tips. Relatively close to many beautiful beaches and towns along the coast.
There were a lot of mosquitos. Next time we bring more repellent 🙂

Un séjour très agréable, reposant, enrichissant: la vue sur la vallée et la mer au loin. le calme et l'environnement, emplacement idéal pour visiter la région, profiter de la mer, la découverte de Chiavari à 8 kms avec des rues piétonnes, de belles boutiques, des édifices remarquables et des églises somptueuses, la gare qui permet de visiter la région facilement, avec un grand parking gratuit à proximité et de belles plages.

After the intensity of Rome somewhere relaxing was needed. One night. Ligurian coast. No hustle and bustle so not quite on the coast. Easy to reach from autostrada. The photos looked great. It was easy to find. Easy to park. The view at sunset was amazing. The hosts were charming and informative. Such a place needed two nights. OK? OK. Outside, the house, the terraces the gardens and the views are extraordinary. Inside the quality and design of the restoration and finishing are a joy to experience. There is space. There is volume. There are comforts. Lovely bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast rooms and library are downstairs. Lift or staircase as you prefer. Eat inside or outside as you like. Outside of course. Above, villages huddle. Below, the sea shimmers. Home made bread, cakes, jams are delicious. If you've spent the last 18 months restoring your house in the country you want to hear all about how Villa Paggi was respectfully but creatively transformed. The story alone is worth the visit. Drive to the hills and mountains of Liguria. Along the ``horse chestnut road``, then a bit of ``Parma road``. Average speed 30kmph but breathtaking views and tasty trattorias to discover. Plus local cuisine dinner in Sestri Levante. Next day. 4 pots of Gianluca's homemade jams, grazie mille, arrivederci. Glad to have found the ideal entry and exit stopover for all future trips to Italy. Also a great place to come to with friends for a longer stay so as to explore Genoa, La Spezia.

A small and cozy B&B manged by the lovely couple Alessandra and Gianluca. Unfortunately we only had the time for a one night stay, but we would come back. If you like a place a little off the beaten track, this is the place for you. Wonderful rooms, a small gym with jacuzzi, delicious breakfast and kind staff. What`s more to ask.

My mother and I were weary travelers and we could not have asked for a better location and experience at Villa Paggi. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit bei der Ausflugsplanung, haben auch gleich einen noch Termin bei einem Olivenbauern organisiert - und das an einem Sonntag. Wir hatten wahrscheinlich zufällig ein behindertengerechtes Zimmer mit riesigem Bad. · Die Lage der Unterkunft ist zwar fantastisch aber die Zufahrt auf der fast 2 km langen serpentinenartigen Straße nach Carasco ist nicht jedermanns Sache - vor allem bei Gegenverkehr.

Absolutely amazing location and breathtaking views. 15 min drive to the nearest beach and only 30 min drive to Portofino. Very quiet and peaceful place. Great breakfast! The hosts very welcoming and made us feel at home. They took time to give us recommendations on best places to visit and to eat.

Alessandra and Gianluca are wonderful hosts and could not have made us more welcome. We were provided with maps and guides to the area as soon as we arrived. Set high up in the hills near Carasco, Villa Paggi has been painstakingly restored with sensitivity and style and is more like a lovely hotel than a B&B. Each room is individually decorated with great attention to detail and our room had wonderful views towards the sea and was immaculately clean. The views from the outside terraces were just glorious, but what we didn't expect were the most amazing breakfasts each morning all prepared by Gianluca, who is a masterchef. We had home made bread, different juices, a selection of fruit (and a baked tray of fruit), yoghurts, and some of the best homemade pastries and cakes anyone could ever wish for. We cannot recommend the hospitality at Villa Paggi too highly. The road leading up to it is quite steep and winding and good driving skills are needed when coming back in the dark, but the enjoyment of Villa Paggi is well worth the climb to it and the views are amazing. It's also a good location to visit many places along the Italian Riviera.

Très belle endroit avec une vue magnifique sur la montagne et la mer. Alessandra est une hôte formidable pleine de bons conseils et toujours disponible. Nous étions dans l'appartement 2 pièces avec la grande terrasse, parfait pour un couple et un enfant. Le fait d être sur les hauteurs il faut absolument une voiture car l endroit est isolé. Les petits déjeuners sont très copieux et faits maison, ne pas s en priver. Très bon rapport qualité prix en cette saison et idéal pour visiter la région Ligurie et les Cinque Terres. A recommander.

This is a divine apartment set amongst beautiful scenery in a B&B. From the outset Allesandra was excellent with communication and directions on how to find her property. We didn't have the opportunity to meet her, but met her husband Gianluca met us and gave us a wonderful introduction including maps of the local areas and great advice. The apartment is as described as photographed, although I would say it's actually larger than how it appears online. If you are thinking of visiting Cinque Terre and surrounding areas, I would highly recommend staying here. Absolute perfection from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Thank you both for your very generous hospitality.

Heerlijk rustgevende plek!
Bij binnenkomst voelde wij ons meteen welkom doordat we welkom werden geheten door de eigenaresse die erg goed Engels sprak en ontzettend veel wist te vertellen over de omgeving en meteen tips gaf over wat wel en wat niet te doen. En waar wel en waar niet te gaan eten. Wij hadden de luxe om te kiezen welke kamer we graag zouden willen omdat ze niet allemaal verhuurd waren. We hadden een kamer gekozen met een ontzettend mooi uitzicht. Alleen vonden wij het wel wat warm in de kamer. Maar met de ventilator die er stond was het zeker goed te doen snachts! Heel het country house zat er netjes en schoon uit. En ook de tuin was ontzettend Goed bij gehouden. Op een aantal plekken staan stoelen met tafeltjes en ook ligbedden. Meer dan genoeg voor iedereen. De plek waar je je auto kan neerzetten is fijn en overdekt en wederom netjes en schoon. Ook het ontbijt was erg lekker en uitgebreid. Veel keuze en lekkere koffies. Vers zelf gebakken broden en taarten en div fruit aanwezig. Mochten we weer een keer willen hiken en of tot rust willen komen zullen wij hier zeker terug komen!

You will arrive in a little piece of paradise! Very friendly and helpfull hosts. Breakfast is amazing, all homemade and delicious (do try the Tiramisu!!). Perfect basecamp to explore the area. Rooms are spacious and clean. Minifridge in the room to keep things cool. Highly reccommand this place!!
